Contacting us

When you use the contact form, we receive the name, email address and message you provide. We use this information only to read and respond to your enquiry and to deal with any necessary follow-up. We do not sell your personal information.

Cookies and consent

SymbolSpot uses UniConsent to present privacy choices and record your consent preferences. Essential storage may be used where it is needed for security, site operation or remembering those choices. Optional analytics storage is controlled by the choices shown in the consent notice.

When you complete the daily game, SymbolSpot stores the date played and your current streak in your browser's local storage. This stays on your device, is not sent to us and can be removed using your browser controls.

Google Analytics

With the appropriate consent, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how people find and use SymbolSpot. It may collect information such as pages visited, approximate location, device and browser type, referral source and interactions with the site. We use this aggregated information to improve the game and symbol guide.

Google Analytics is connected through Google Consent Mode, allowing the Google tag to adjust its behaviour according to the consent choice communicated by UniConsent.

Security and error logs

Our web server and application may keep technical logs, including IP addresses, browser information, requested pages, dates and times, to keep the site secure, diagnose faults and prevent misuse. These logs are not used for advertising.

How long information is kept

Personal information and technical logs are kept only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which they were collected, including responding to enquiries, maintaining security and meeting legal obligations.
